ROMA – E’ “Heroes” il brano di David Bowie più ascoltato negli ultimi dodici mesi su TIMmusic, la piattaforma di musica digitale di TIM.
Ad un anno dalla sua scomparsa, nella top 10 delle sue canzoni più ascoltate, ben tre (Blackstar, ‘Tis a Pity She Was a Whore e Lazarus) fanno parte del suo ultimo album “Blackstar”, ma è ancora “Heroes”, pubblicato nel 1977 e composto con Brian Eno, il più amato.

Con il muro di Berlino sullo sfondo, visto come ostacolo tra due amanti e simbolo della guerra fredda, “Heroes” è il grido disperato di un amante che implora la sua ragazza di non andarsene e di non scegliere strade più semplici, perchè, come dice la canzone, «We can be heroes, just for one day» (Possiamo essere eroi, solo per un giorno).
Segno che tutte le canzoni di Bowie restano manifesti eterni anche nella musica di oggi, al secondo posto c’è un altro brano storico di Bowie, “Space Oddity”, del 1969.
Il podio, invece, viene chiuso da “Blackstar”, traccia che dà il titolo al suo ultimo album, uscito l’8 gennaio dello scorso anno, giorno del suo compleanno.
