“Melodrama”
Melodrama è il secondo album di Lorde, in usicta il 16 giugno per Universal Music a distanza di 4 anni dal pluripremiato Pure Heroine.
Con il suo primo disco la giovane neozelandese, “futuro della musica” secondo David Bowie, raggiunse il successo mondiale nel 2013, a soli 16 anni.
“Scrivere Pure Heroine è stato il mio modo di sancire la nostra gloria adoloscenziale, mettendola in luce per sempre in modo che una parte di me non muoia mai, e questo disco – beh, questo è su ciò che viene dopo… La festa sta per iniziare. Sto per mostrarvi il nuovo mondo” aveva scritto nel 2016 su Facebook.
E il nuovo mondo di Lorde si svela il 3 marzo, con il primo singolo estratto da Melodrama “Green Light”.
Dopo gli oltre 12 milioni di visualizzazioni che accompagnano il video del brano, Lorde rilascia il 1° giugno il secondo estratto, “Perfect Places”.
Il brano è stato pubblicato il 1° giugno 2017.
“Liability” è stato rilasciato come singolo promozionale il 10 marzo 2017, e sarà seguito da “Sober” il 9 giugno.
