Beyoncé trionfa, infatti, ai BET Awards 2017, i premi istituiti nel 2001 dal network Black Entertainment Television per celebrare afroamericani ed altre minoranze nel campo della musica, della recitazione, dello sport, e di altri settori dell’intrattenimento.
La popstar ha vinto ben 5 premi: album dell’anno per Lemonade e video of the year per Sorry (premio che condivide in ex equo con 24k Magic di Bruno Mars). Poi il Viewer’s Choice Award e il Video Director of the Year, entrambi per Sorry. Infine il best female rnb/pop artist. Durante la serata di premiazione che si è svolta a Los Angeles la scorsa notte, sono saliti sul palco per esibirsi, tra gli altri, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne e Migos.
