Demi appare in uno splendido abito di Lazaro. A chiederle la mano Jesse Williams, il dottor Jackson Avery di Grey’s Anatomy. I fan avranno avuto una sorta di déjà-vù nel vederlo in abito elegante all’altare. Come dimenticare il momento in cui Jackson interruppe il matrimonio di April per dichiarare il suo amore.
Anche nel video di Tell me you love me il sì non c’è. Manca, però, pure il lieto fine. A oscurare le nozze l’ombra del tradimento, la gelosia e la fiducia persa. Il video diretto da Mark Pellington racconta tutto questo.
Demi e Jesse hanno celebrato il matrimonio in maniera realistica: “Abbiamo organizzato un vero matrimonio con i miei migliori amici che hanno interpretato la damigella d’onore e il testimone dello sposo – ha raccontato la Lovato -. La location era bellissima. Era perfetta!”.
La canzone è una delle mie preferite ed è per questo che ho chiamato l’album così”, ha detto Demi presentando il video. “Non solo adoro cantarla ma penso che il significato sia importante – ha aggiunto -. Alla fine quello che veramente hai bisogno ce l’hai di fronte. Ed è te stesso”.
