ROMA – Tutto come previsto nella serata di premiazione dei D.I.C.E., il titolo di miglior videogame dell’anno è andato a Fallout 4. Il game, targato Bethesda, ha sbaragliato titoli come Bloodborne, Ori and the Blind Forest, Rise of the Tomb Raider e The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Fallout 4 si è portato a casa anche due altri premi della ‘Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences’, quello per la direzione di gioco e come miglior gioco di ruolo.
Un successo scontato visto il riscontro che il titolo ha ottenuto tra i videogiocatori di tutto il mondo e al successo ‘mobile’ di Fallout Shelter Il maggior avversario del gioco campione dell’anno, Witcher 3, si è aggiudicati, invece, i premi per la storia, per la qualità tecnica e per il design di gioco.
Il summit dell’Academy ha riservato anche dei riconoscimenti personali. Il primo a Satoru Iwata, l’ex-presidente di Nintendo scomparso prematuramente lo scorso 11 luglio, il secondo a Hideo Kojima, per la sua trentennale carriera. Bene sono andati anche alcuni game meno conosciuti come nel caso di Ori and the Blind Forest che si è accaparrato i tre premi relativi all’animazione, alla direzione artistica e alla colonna sonora.
Sorprese sono poi giunte in altre sezioni dei D.I.C.E., quella sportiva ad esempio dove Rocket League ha sconfitto giochi del calibro di FIFA 2016 ed NBA 2016. Suoi anche i premi per il miglior RPG e il premio per la miglior direzione di gioco.
