Nove in totale le categorie in cui Zoolander 2 concorre per un premio. Il ritorno di Dereck Zoolander evidentemente non è piaciuto al pubblico che ha apprezzato la pellicola del 2001. Peggior film, peggiore attore con un Ben Stiller che è anche candidato per peggiore regia. Poi peggiori attori non protagonisti (Owen Wilson e Will Ferrell) e peggiore attrice non protagonista (Kristen Wiig). In fatto di nomination fa incetta anche Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice che rincorre Zoolander con 8 candidature.
